Student Startup Guide
Last Wednesday, 14 January 2026, we hosted our first panel talk on the topic “Student Startup Guide” at Utopia.
It started at 4 pm. Around 30 students and people interested in founding came to get insights into founding a startup.
Our guests on stage were Prof. Dr. Markus Reihlen and Dr. Corinna Krome (Utopia/Mosaique) – two people who are deeply connected in the Lüneburg ecosystem around entrepreneurship. Both brought in their experience from different areas of the startup industry and gave the participants valuable insights into founding a startup.
Topics included personal lessons learned, typical challenges in the early phase and the importance of a strong network. The audience asked numerous follow-up questions, which deepened the exchange and gave participants the chance to bring in their own ideas, doubts and perspectives. This exchange is what made the event so practical.
After the panel talk we started a networking round in which many interesting conversations took place.
What happens next?
The participants’ feedback showed us that there is definitely a need for events like this. For us it is clear: panel talks and similar events will take place more often in the future to accompany students on their way into the startup industry.
With formats like this, we continue to pursue the goal of making entrepreneurship at Leuphana University more visible and accessible. The panel talk was another step in this direction. 🚀
