Project management workshop

Our project management workshop
Last week we had a workshop on project management. We have plenty of ideas at IGNITE; the question is rather how to carry them out cleanly. So we wanted to look at a few proven methods.
What we learned
Project charter: Before a project starts, we write down what exactly we want to do and which goals we want to reach. That way everyone is on the same page, and there is less discussion later about what the plan actually was.
Kanban: Every task becomes its own ticket with one person responsible for it. You can see at a glance who is working on what and where things are stuck.
Scrum: We looked at roles and short sprints. This helps us focus on the essentials and build a working first version of a project, instead of trying to make everything perfect at once.
Tried out right away
Thanks to Dr. Jens Schmidt for the workshop and the many practical tips! We tried the methods straight away at our upcoming events, which was helpful because you immediately see what works in everyday practice.
What happens next?
We are continuing to build out our internal processes so that IGNITE stays well organized with a larger team. Do you feel like joining us? Then get in touch! 👇
