Into the new semester together: 40 aspiring founders at the IGNITE Open Weekly

What a start to the winter semester! At our Open Weekly on 20 October we welcomed around 40 students interested in founding a startup. Alongside many new faces, familiar members of our community joined as well. Together we exchanged ideas, made new contacts and gave an outlook on what is coming up at IGNITE in the next few months.

A community full of ideas and drive

The great interest and the many motivated conversations showed once again how much enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and innovation there is at Leuphana. Whether with a concrete startup idea or simply curious about the startup world: at IGNITE, students come together to learn from each other, inspire each other and make things happen together. That is exactly what our initiative is about: we bring people interested in founding together, create room for exchange and make the startup world more accessible to students.

An outlook on the winter semester

We have plenty planned for this semester too: exciting events and workshops, startup visits, hackathons and new projects that we want to move forward together with our community.

At the Open Weekly, guests got to know our work, our teams and the different ways to get involved at IGNITE. Because our initiative does not live from events alone, but above all from the people who shape it with their ideas and commitment.

Shaping IGNITE together

A big thank you to everyone who was there and enriched the evening with their openness, curiosity and energy! We look forward to deepening the new contacts and developing IGNITE further together.

Would you like to bring in your own ideas, work on projects and become part of our startup community? Then apply to IGNITE!
